I asked him how he would describe himself, he was quite for a while, then with a suspicious grin on his face, he responded,
“Am like the patient guy in a bar, sipping a cold drink, watching, saying nothing. Just watching. I see it all.But I say nothing. I come here every day. I know the DJ’s best and worst days from the type of music he kicks off the session with. Sometimes, he seeks for music to save him. I wish him well.” He says as he looks towards the DJ’s deck.
“I sometimes notice the newcomers, the ones with the broken hearts, looking for something, someone to make them forget. I can tell this environment is unfamiliar to them. It’s a cold world out there. Other newcomers are just new in town, looking for a good time, boy, and they do. “
This confused me even more.
“What are you hiding from? ” I asked.
“I used to hide from pain a while back, but not anymore, my worst fears came true. Now I am a free man. ” He concludes with a smile.
